McCall 98 Wade

We’ve had requests for a lower gullet for closer horse contact and a slightly larger cap. We reworked the original Wade to achieve these changes and introduced the revised saddle in early 1998. Hence the name, 98 Wade. It has a little different look and function.

Tree: ’98 Wade with integral laminated hardwood wood post horn, rawhide cover with rawhide lace.
Gullet: 7 ½” high by 6 ¼” wide modified QH. (SQH standard [regular/narrower], QH and FQH tree available*)
Swell: 8 ½” wide
Horn: Guadalajara style heart shaped 3” by 5″ finished
Cantle: 4” by 12” round (higher and wider available*)
Seat: 16.5” (14” – 18” in half inch increments available*)
Rigging: Standard ⅞ hamley flat plate with brass or stainless steel rear flanged dee (any rigging style available*)
Stirrups: 4” bell lined and half covered – standard (rawhide or full lined available)
Stirrup Leathers: 3″ full standard)
